Camping out

Here’s something for the homeless. Whether you like to walk or bike your way around, you can get your mobile home with you. Kevin Cyr has made prototypes for both types of mobile homes – all most. He needs just a little help for completing the project. You can help him at Kickstarter – a funding platform for artist, designers etc. There’s lot of interesting project to fund.

The Flaming Lips – Embryonic

I’ve just started listening to the new album from The Flaming Lips. I have never been that much in to them, but this is like nothing I’ve ever heard. Apparently the sound is the same as what got them famuse in the first place. Oh and check out their beautiful cover art, it sums up the album quite good, I think it’s made by Flaming Lips inhouse graphic guy – George Salisbury . So if you’re in to 60s/70s psych-rock you should buy this album. Here’s a little taste.

Beaches

Some great work by Massimo Vitali. Makes you want to head south immediately. Somehow the colours gives me a little of a fifties vibe, which makes the pictures even better.

Vodafone Symphonia
A nice spot for Vodafone with an orchestra based on 53 different ringtones and mobile phones in 1000s. The sounds of these text messages are synchronized in harmony in order to replay the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky. Not really sure about what there trying to say with this?
