These guys took another approach when designing cover art for the Australian Ministry of Sound Chillout Session. The build a model of ordinary life trying to make it look real. A homage to Frank Lloyd Wright and Neutra and the lifestyles their buildings accommodated, Chillout Sessions XII takes us to a fusion of time periods somewhere between the 50s and the 80s in the filtered light of California.
I just received this great music video today. Directed by Romain Chassaing and produced by SoLab for Wax Tailor featuring Charlie Winston. Even though I’ve never heard of any of them, I’m impressed. It’s always nice to see some well produced analogue work/play. Oh, and it’s a catchy tune. Be sure to watch it.
