Ads without Ads

Been a long time fan of Branislav Kropilak and some pictures he took of underground garages – haven’t been able to find the pictures again until old friend Rasmus posted this new series of billboards seen from the ground. Even though I’m in advertising it’s a pleasant sight AND I got to see the old garage pictures again – still rockin.
Freeze!

Guns made from coke, licorice and cherry flavoured ice, making it a pleasure to kill yourself. Made by Florian Jenett and Valentin Beinroth. Via.
Futuristic Art

Russian graphic designer Tatiana Plakhova blows me away with her beautiful science fiction-like creatures. Her handmade vectors come alive when the lines and dots connect to form intricate patterns and shapes. (Through Ulrik)
Alltime high

Right now there’s never been so much rain in Denmark. Made me think of an installation by Vibskov last Kulturnat. 702 umbrellas forming a landscape. Looks awesome. Pictures by Alastair.
For the Love of Paper

Richard Nabarro did some amazing work on the Fedrigoni Challenge. You can check out more of his work at his Behance account.
Retrofied Future Ads

I stumbled by this retro looking ad for Facebook and had to post it here. I love vintage design/ads and found out that this is actually a part of a campaign for Maximidia Seminars. Twitter, Skype and Youtube is shown after the jump – including the original ad.
Blob art

Peter Zimmermann turns blobs, drips and drops in to organic art. Hmm, funny how the last picture reminds me of The Skittles Leak Commercial.
